America’s Talking
by Live Desk Producers
U.S. Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd called on a top auto executive to resign in exchange for bailout money from the federal government.
Dodd said General Motors’ chief executive officer Rick Wagoner — who has been with GM since 1977 — should be replaced if the faltering auto company is to receive any money from the government.
We want to know:
Should the Big Three CEOs have to go?

To all that say it the union’s fault your jealous. There over payed to many benefits bull keep reading your company’s talking points. The union’s have there problem’s but they are needed. Once the union’s are gone you get what you want lower pay and benefits for all. If you think it won’t happen your wrong. You say the uaw workers over paid nope your under payed. The jobs at the detroit 3 or big 3 what ever you want to call them. Think of it this way these job are good paying middle class jobs wright. At $27 hr there over paid wright how come there over paid and at $14 to $17 hr your not under paid. When did it become wrong for the working man to have a better life for him and his family? If the union’s don’t fight for the workers who will congress the senate. You know there guys who bailed out wall street with out a blink but the middle class not so fast. Don’t forget on GM was the bench mark for pay and benefits not wallmart.
What about people that arent overpaying themselves?Seems to me 700 billion could help an awful lot of people trying to make it through this rather than help companies that already have all the money. How could this possibly help our countries economy. It still keeps the money out of spenders hands. This only helps people working for those companies. How do we become responsible for a companies financial problems?
WHAT ABOUT US?
