If the news stopped covering high speed chases there would be alot less of them! Also; you only cover a few large cities, I know there are chases in cities across the country every week/day. Unless you live in that city WHO CARES!
Is there no other news besides a slow truck chase in Texas?
As a retired Law enforcement officer who pre dates stop sticks I can tell you the safest way to stop a runner. As long as you can get an officer ahead of the vehicle, you use a shotgun to shoot the radiator. You do not harm the driver, you do not cause the vehicle to lose control, but the engine will seize up and stop in short order when the coolant runs out.

Well D’uh. He’s probably listening to foxnews on xm radio, so maybe you’re one of the reasons he’s continuing to run from the cops.
Maybe if foxnews would just shut the hell up he wouldn’t continue to get his 15 hours of fame.
Good job foxnews. Maybe we’ll luck out and you’ll catch him running over a 6 year old. Wouldn’t that boost your ratings.
I know the guy committed a crime…but all this for a tank of gas….don’t they, the police have better things to do???? And 75mph…oh my GOD, that’s really really fast!!! Where I live the rural speed limit on 2 lane highway is 75mph….come on you guys stop with the hype…I’m so tired of it form all the media outlets….making it a lot bigger than it is….take a chill pill!!!!MOVE ON TO SOMETHING ELSE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
What? No police conference with the top 5 police of 2 or 3 states to talk about the pickup truck?
Golly… wow….
It looks like the truck is like a 4-wheel drive. Not only will that allow the driver to maintain traction with the rear wheel just spinning, but the traction provided by the front axle will also make it very hard to force the pit maneuver.

Hey, just saw Steve Centani doing a report. How the heck is he doing? He went through and awful time being kidnapped for a time. Please update.
Slow news day?? How much airtime was wasted watching the inept Dallas PD follow that truck around the farmland of Texas? I guess Fox news, themselves, got sick of ObamaCare talk, Nobel Peace Prize talk and general Democrat-bashing.
