A member of Congress called on Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner to resign today or be fired from his post. Geithner has been getting extreme heat for the AIG bonus scandal, which Rep. Connie Mack (R - Fla.) is calling "but the latest fiasco under his watch."

AIG paid out $165 million to executives; 11 of which are no longer employed with the insurance giant. Geithner is set to testify before the House Financial Services Committee twice next week on the 24th and 26th of March.

We want to know:

Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin, the teenage daughter of Gov. Sarah Palin, have broken off their engagement, about 2 1/2 months after the couple had a baby.

Johnston, 19, told The Associated Press that he and 18-year-old Bristol Palin mutually decided "a while ago" to end their relationship.

obama6"I don't think things are ever as good as they say, or ever as bad as they say." President Obama uttered those words yesterday to CEOs at a Business Roundtable meeting in the nation's capital. Essentially, things are "not as bad as we think they are now," he said.

This lies in stark contrast with his words just last month where he said this current financial crisis is unlike any other we've seen in our lifetime. The worst since the Great Depression.

Anna Nicole Smith's boyfriend Howard K. Stern and two doctors were charged Thursday with giving thousands of prescription drugs to the former Playboy Playmate in the years leading up to her fatal drug overdose in 2007.

Stern and doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich were each charged with three felony counts of conspiracy and several other charges of fraudulent prescriptions. Prosecutors said the doctors gave the drugs — including opiates and benzodiazepines — to Stern, who then gave them to Smith.

The court ruled and Bernie Madoff has been sent to jail. He could face up to 150 years once he's sentenced on June 16th.

But what about his victims? Thousands of clients, from Hollywood stars to charities and financiers invested and got majorly bilked by him; some even losing billions. The Securities Investor Protection Corp. is a court-appointed body placed in charge of liquidating Madoff's business and returning whatever money remains to his victims. But the maximum payout to each individual is a mere $500,000.
